Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is the Mexican American sportscaster. She is currently employed by ESPN as a reporter for SportsCenter and occasionally host SportsNation. She joined ESPN in 2016. joined ESPN. She is the daughter of the TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins was bilingual since the age of nine years old a useful ability that allowed her to secure her first job in the production department at Univision in Miami which provided her with the opportunity to be a part of the production team for national programs such as Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. Her first job was as an reporter at The CBS St. Petersburg affiliate after that. In 2009 she relocated from Texas to Rio Grande Valley where she began her news reporting on KNVO TV 48 Univision. The stories she covered were about illegal immigration as well as drug trafficking throughout Texas and Mexico. In addition, she was an anchor for weather anchors, sports anchors and forecasters. The girl was born on November 22nd on the 22nd of October, 1985 in Mexico City. She is younger than her sister. There is an older sibling. In 1992, her parents divorced then shortly thereafter in 1995 she remarried Fabio Fajardo who was naval engineer, who died in 2006 due to kidney cancer. When on vacation Antonietta was staying at her sister's house in Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sister had just landed the job of his dreams. Antonietta still a senior at high school but she had a clear idea of the path she wanted. When she was deciding whether Mount Union was right for her Antonietta visited the school. Then she was enthralled with the university. The university offered her an academic major. After completing her studies, she was accepted to the University as a major studying media and communication studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor and also the head of WRMU and WRMU, which she's a member. They developed a close relationship. His passion for journalism and her self-confidence encouraged her. She in turn, tried to meet his expectations and never let him down.
